Let’s Talk About Autism

Virginia Burton Gray Recreation Center

1475 E Fayetteville Rd, Riverdale, GA 30296

Wednesday, April 18 – 6:00pm-8:00pm

Throughout the nation, April is recognized as Autism Awareness Month. The CDC estimates that 1 in 68 children will be impacted by autism.

While race is not recognized as a contributing factor, African American children tend to be diagnosed later than their peers. As a result, African American children may require longer and more intensive intervention.

Join Clayton County Parks and Recreation DepartmentBlackPink.org and Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter – Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for an OPEN & ENGAGING discussion about Autism and related conditions.

FREE and open to the public. Questions? Please contact pmh@asacdst.org.
